• PROJECT: Glases for Africa: The VFW Youth Vounteers are assisting a project collecting prescription glasses, non-prescription sunglasses and eyeglass cases. Glasses collected will be donated to those in need in Africa. Collection boxes will be available at Keiki/Kodomo clinics through July. (more)
• Tanabata Festival: The youth group is planning a get together at the Post to craft
  the tanabata with the parents and kids representing VFW and the Youth Group
  for the Tanabata Festival in Little Tokyo. The VFW Youth Group will purchase the kits. Planned date is scheduled for Saturday July 18th at the VFW Post Hall. • Keiki Kodomo Camp: June 28 (week 5) has been moved to Ocean View High School

• Jaimee Yamaoka, VFW member, coach and former player has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease. The VFW youth group is currently raising funds to assist Jaimee's needs. Click here for more information.
